Help Needed for Residents Affected by Apartment Fire

From GoFundMe – Following the terrible apartment complex fire in Lakewood which displaced 30 people, many are turning to GoFundMe to ask for help finding a new place to call home. Four fundraisers have been started to help those affected by this fire. The links to all four of those fundraisers are below. 

As reported by KDVR.com (FOX31 CW2):

“West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a fire at an apartment building near 13th Avenue and Lamar Street in Lakewood Saturday morning.

“WMFR said 911 callers reported seeing smoke and flames coming from an upper-level unit at the apartment building.

“In an update just after noon, the agency said the fire was caused by an unattended space heater on the wood deck of a second-floor apartment.”
