Hydrate IV Bar Expands to Lakewood This Month

Hydrate IV Bar®, a Colorado-founded IV therapy and wellness brand, is expanding to Lakewood in late March, with a Grand Opening Celebration taking place from 12-4 p.m. on April 17th. Located at 3333 South Wadsworth Blvd., Suite C106, the spa will mark Hydrate IV Bar’s 11th location in Colorado.

The Lakewood location is owned and operated by Nicole and Kevin Poel, longtime Colorado healthcare professionals and owners of the Hydrate IV Bar spa in Westminster. Nicole has been a registered nurse since 2007, and Kevin is a board-certified pediatric clinical pharmacist with more than 17 years of experience. The couple met while working in the emergency department at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Over time, they became increasingly interested in how hydration and nutrient support could play a role in overall wellness beyond acute care settings.

“We are passionate about helping people understand the benefits of hydration and nutrient support for their wellness, especially in the dry climate of Colorado,” said Nicole Poel. “Many of our clients are busy professionals, parents, athletes, or frequent travelers who are simply looking for ways to feel balanced and supported.”

As parents of four, the Poels say wellness is both professional and personal. One of their favorite services, NAD+ IV therapy, is designed to support energy, mental clarity, and overall vitality. They opened the Westminster Hydrate IV Bar location in 2023, which Denver voters named Best of Mile High 2025, and view expansion into Lakewood as a natural next step.
